Well, that's pretty... infuriating.

I was roleplaying on PI with a few other people, and despite the fact that god-modders have been the shunned scourges of roleplay ever since it came into existance, that's exactly what this one girl is. I really wish I had known that before I joined this RP.
This is what happened:
I posted my characters, she posted her characters, everybody else posted their characters. It was all good. Then, the girl (let's call her Bob) made the first post... and she used one of my characters.
Okay, I've dealt with my characters being dramatically injured, randomly pushed into stupidly awkward (or awkwardly stupid, either way) romantic situations, and suddenly acquiring bizarre and very unwanted magical powers before, but this god-modder takes the cake.
My character was mute.
Bob made him the most talkative person EVER.
I can deal with my characters being thrown into situations that I really don't want them to be in, but I WILL NOT DEAL WITH THEIR PERSONALITIES BEING %100 ALTERED!!!
So of course, I PM'd them and said that I was confused about why Sevilen (that's the name of my character) was being used by her, and why he was talking. This was her response:
"The rules don't say no godmodding: you can make other characters do things to a certain extent."

"To a certian extent"? Is she kidding me? She completely changed his entire personality, and totally ignored the fact that he was mute! By the time this roleplay is over (If I don't quit before then, and I probably will), I wouldn't be surprised if she had changed his hair color and made him a fairy werewolf from Mars, I really wouldn't.

After that, I went and read the rules, because I was sure that god-modding was against the rules. Because, you know, on most sites with roleplay forums, you can be BANNED for god-modding, and permanently banned if you do it twice.
Well, guess what?
It's not against the PI rules.

I am mad.
And I just won the Understatement of the Year award for saying that.

I am INFURIATED!
This means that this insane, god-modding, incosiderate gerbilface (And no, "gerbilface" isn't the first thing I wanted to call them, not by a long shot) can now use any of the four characters - they can now steal the four original characters that were the product of my creativity, imagination, time and work - and do whatever they want with them!
I'm seriously thinking about PMing a moderator to see why in the heck god-modding isn't against the rules. In the meantime, all I can do is quite the RP and block Bob.
