He's a norse god. you can't blame him for not being aware of Christmas fire hazards, he's never celebrated Christmas before.

I was re-watching episode thirteen (Fantastic Flower) of Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok, and when it got to the part right before Odin released all of the evil energy that Loki had collected, I noticed that a collection thingamajig looked like a Christmas tree.So of course, this was the first thought that popped into my head:

Fenrir tried to warn his father that the Christmas tree was too close to the fireplace, but as usual, Loki refused to listen. They ended up spending the rest of the holidays at Thor's apartment.

You can't exactly blame Loki for failing at Christmas, can you? He's new to the whole "Happy Holidays" thing.
